I'm begging all your patience, please ... real life, copy edits, and an overworked (slow ... as ... a ... snail ... hopefully ... not ... dying!) laptop hijacked my time today ... so very sorry ... so my meeting with Ms. Random.org to choose the winner of This Side of the Grave is unfortunately postponed till tomorrow, as is the post for the giveaway for Richelle Mead's Iron Crowned (Dark Swan #3).

Thanks, Neil. I'm investing in a new one (before this one goes totally, so don't have to transfer everything). But will hopefully take you up on the techno treatment for it once I've dug myself out from the deadline blocking up the Writing Cave.:-)
If you are going to replace it, can I suggest a Mac? Perhaps a little more pricey to start with, but a lower total cost of ownership in the long run.

Lol! You've been talking to that Fiona again, haven't you? Hmm,I know everyone loves Macs, but I'm v. reactionary and hate change* (which is why I've held on to this one for so long - it's got XP op sys). Plus all the software we've got (with extra licences) is for Windows op sys. But hugs and thanks for the tip :-)
*particularly when it comes to anything to do with the writing :-)
